Actually, I'll be working in the Rare Book room at a local bookstore, and then slinging records at the local record store. (These are about a block from each other, and the shifts never overlap.) So: I get to hang out with rare books and records all day! Score!

@Austin: My older siblings, well not all of them, but most of them were hippies. My late sister wanted to go to Woodstock on her 20th birthday, but the NYS Thruway was jam packed. My oldest sister missed the hippy mindset. I think that's why none of the rest of us connect with her.

I'm certainly a little younger, but I think my parents really gelled with that lifestyle, and then drifted from it as raising kids became harder. But my early childhood was full of lots of strange counterculture in the most endearing possible way. (I was sort of raised by TV and radio, as a result.)
