Sarcofiguy, Canada is wonderful. Montreal and Niagara-on-the-Lake are really cool as far as "nearby" destinations go. Pity you can no longer flash a driver's license to get across.

Then there is the "Real ID" which will be required for domestic flights beginning May 2023. I've had a passport for many years. We soon will have to show our "papers" to cross state lines, along with taking the lie detector test that you are not nor enabling an abortion seeker....

Shopping for a new home office chair. Interesting specification I am seeing is "Recommended Max Daily Usage". All I find so far is 4 - 6 hours. Afraid what the cost would be for 8 - 10 hours.

My suspicion is that it is a legal liability escape clause for users developing back, neck, etc issues. Also probably voids the warrantee. Yes, it is 7 year warrantee but not if you use it 8 hours a day....

WR if you have the space and the money it makes sense to get 2 different styles of office chair, if you spend that much time sitting. make sure either one *seems* like it'd be comfortable for 10 hours straight; and switch 'em up every few hours.

that's my theory.
i cannot do that, personally!

my sister has bought at least 6-7 different styles of "chair", over the years (including a standing desk, a giant rubber ball and a kneeling chair). usage has ranged from 2-3 days to a few years.
