yes, two eyes are better one (which I got three weeks ago) which are better than none. To think I was functionally blind less then a month ago, and now I can see 100s of meters....

@Sara: I got a sudden case of cataracts that developed w/in a year in the center of my vision, no one knows why. It was weird getting surgery, as everyone else getting cataract surgery was 25-35 years older then I.

@joe: I could only read a few characters at a time w/ reader glasses. I had the wfmu comments board blown up 400% and customized the colors, and still could barely read/write. I'll never take reading/writing for granted again....
