(One of my hero of our strange digital era is the australian sound engineer Mikey Young who manages to perpetuate a sort of punk sound and attract many many famous bands (as Vintage Crop for example ) . Sorry for my bad english language , I'm french !

They drove me and my we son then Arnan in their Mobile/Van/Gig Touring vehicle to a show in Eindhoven and back later to A'dam. .. they were lovely folks .. the gave Arnan ear plugs for the gig ..

Sometimes I regret not being born in USA ! One example : I'm a fan of Guided By Voices , but I think that they have never played once in France . In any case , I never had the opportunity to see them in concert .

	4:02pm rx scabin: I saw Magazine in Lockport NY in 1980. It was an interest8ing place. John Cougar before Mellencamp played there a few weeks before. Anyway, Magazine's guitarist was great and out of his time. When the lights came up, Howard Devoto had somehow climbed up the mic stand and was clinging to it like some lizard. A crushing show. The ten people that were there for it loved it.

Went for a (VERY WINDY) paddle on the Hudson out of Saugerties. I saw someone with a WFMU sticker on their laptop in Catskill and gave them a "Hey, nice sticker!" and received similar in West Fulton meeting some musicians who had a place there but are also from Brooklyn (and have been played on WFMU!). prof.fuzz!

Went for a (VERY WINDY) paddle on the Hudson out of Saugerties. I saw someone with a WFMU sticker on their laptop in Catskill and gave them a "Hey, nice sticker!" and received similar in West Fulton meeting some musicians who had a place there but are also from Brooklyn (and have been played on WFMU!). prof.fuzz!
