Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Playing Football should be discouraged… the NFL admits that at least 1/3 of current NFL players will* develop CTE….
The rate of injury for pro football is 3 injuries per hour and pro Rugby is 1 injury per hour! Rugby is a much safer and enjoyable game!!! and after the match is over both teams get together to drink and sing songs!!!
There are alot of GoOD things to be said for practicing sportsmanship…. Good sportsmanship is a benefit to our society outside the game

Never cared for football myself. So boring and monotonous. For that matter, I'm not into sports period.
PaulRobeson1922:
The thing is, with American Football there is no way to make the game safe for kids or adults. The pads and helmet increase the forces generated during contact and will harm your brain - no if ands or buts. The the football mentality is to grit yer teeth and keep playing even with a head injury

Made the playoffs senior year…
The wins in football felt intensely pleasurable, that I remember. Hard to describe it felt
Better winning in football than other sports….i remember having my fingers mashed between two helmets I vividly Remember that… but after playing Rugby competitively I would never encourage anyone to play a game as militaristic as Football when they could play Rugby
PaulRobeson1922:
And the average lenatgh of time you can play is much longer than football… average pro career in football is less than 3 years…
Rugby has 35-45 leagues
45-55
And 55 and over leagues- American football has no equivalent. The mentality is diffrent too. Rugby is a family game bring the kids and old folks and friends!!! Sing songs!! Have a good time!!
American Football wants to sell you something
