Listener Baby:

This our day to give thanks. Thank you Baby, and thank you Double D. It’s been said a million times, try and imagine a world without WFMU. If one merely does that, then giving a little bit should be like falling out of bed. If you listen, if it means anything to you, help them out. I will now sit back and enjoy my two favorite representatives of greatness. Hi Baby! Hugs Dennis.

On my way to Brooklyn (Crown Heights) to visit the younger daughter. Also, I won the potato peeler on Stashu's show yesterday evening.

Found FMU in 2000 when I moved from Manhattan to a spot in Brooklyn with excellent reception :D

I discovered Michael Shelley during the Great Power Pop Scare in the '90s and FMU a few years later, via some Jeff Buckley songs on Nick Hill's show. Around 2008 I got the app on my iPod (listening that way now, thru the stereo) and was a regular listener from then on.

I was introduced to WFMU when Glen Jones did his Guinness Book Of World Records most hours on the air marathon show

I started listening in '89 when I moved to Jersey City. It was really the only good rock (etcetera) music I could get on the radio, besides WKCR (no rock) and WNY (no rock).

I was surprised to discover that at that moment there was more good rock radio in the Albany area than in the NYC area. WFMU was better than any single Albany station, to be sure.

@ I am from WNY. The weather is balmy in Brooklyn in comparison.

I used to have a broken radio. the display wouldn't work. I found WFMU (WMFU) a few times when I was a kid. it was always playing something different. It was sometime mid-late 90s. I started listening again 2010 or so on and off. Ive been fully vested since about 2016, started donating I think in 2018. Now I listen to the mothership or its streams exclusively. I don't need or want lesser radio. WFMU is the greatest!
