	6:21pm Jeff Moore: I continue to root against Spotify because of how badly they pay artists and because their streams just don't sound particularly good. I didn't realistically expect for the stands by Neil Young and friends to take down the rotten edifice which is Spotify, but I was letting myself cheer for them from the sidelines. I'm sure Tidal is far from blameless, but I've been enjoying using them as my promary streaming service for years. The music sounds good via Tidal, and while everybody underpays artists, they don't seem to do it as badly at Tidal as at Spotify.

	6:24pm McGroovey: I've never seen the need for Spotify. I listen to music other places, and I get podcasts other places. Spotify doesn't matter. I have my own music, when I know what I want to listen to, or I have WFMU when I don't know what I want to listen to. Or, to sample things in not sure about, i do that in Bandcamp or YouTube. Podcasts? I use RSS feeds and an RSS reader app.

	6:24pm Cassettivity: For me, the question isn't that we need to make sure that the only message being discussed is the 'right' one. This is the problem with the term 'misinformation'. That term implies that it's a binary thing. We all have seen that science evolves and changes (cigarettes, aspirin, etc) and I don't think we should censor things because they are counter to what the government & Pharma is promoting (most people are only get their info from these sources, so I feel its safe to make this generalization). I grew up strongly skeptical of government and big Pharma.

The myocarditis figures are still in flux, and for people in certain age groups, it now looks like the risk of myocarditis truly is greater from the vaccine than from exposure to the most prevalent current strain of the virus.

	7:08pm Listener Robert: What can be said is that the mRNA vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 had a good benefit-risk profile in vulnerable demographics against the strains of virus that were prevalent early. But they didn't provide sterilizing immunity as had been hoped by some, and eventually the virus, partly due to the selection pressure provided by the vaccines themselves, mutated to escape. Fortunately the strains that have now emerged are about as pathogenic as the common cold, and are unlikely to ever mutate into something worse.

In my judgment too, healthy young people don't benefit from a Covid vaccine, knowing what we know now -- and I work in immunology, so I follow and know this shit. The person who said they weren't going to get vaccinated because they have antibodies must have the from natural immunity, which is more effective than the single-epitope mRNA vaccines produce. The myocarditis figures are still in flux, and for people in certain age groups, it now looks like the risk of myocarditis truly is greater from the vaccine than from exposure to the most prevalent current strain of the virus.

But they didn't provide sterilizing immunity as had been hoped by some, and eventually the virus, partly due to the selection pressure provided by the vaccines themselves, mutated to escape. Fortunately the strains that have now emerged are about as pathogenic as the common cold, and are unlikely to ever mutate into something worse.
