I think after the full onslaught of psychedelia in 1967, record labels and artists were probably wondering in earnest, "where is it going to go from here?" now that applying more involved studio techniques and instituting creative arranging were resonating well with audiences especially on the FM side of the dial.

I think after the full onslaught of psychedelia in 1967, record labels and artists were probably wondering in earnest, "where is it going to go from here?" now that applying more involved studio techniques and instituting creative arranging were resonating well with audiences especially on the FM side of the dial.
