	🥁 6:00pm MOM WHIG: Kip - all well here, just more humid after the storms--sun is out now. I'm feeding old neighbors car - from where I moved - only 1 mile away-they went to the beach for two days.

	🥁 6:01pm Discotech Underground: MOM-Yeah, no fun when the rain doesn't break the heat and only makes it more humid! That was New Orleans...every day it rained like hell for about 10 minutes right around 3:00 and then it was ten times as humid and just as hot!
	🥁 6:02pm MOM WHIG: Kip - at least when I loved in Hawaii - we would get the trade winds and rainbows! Those were the "good old days" in the 80's.

	🥁 6:06pm Discotech Underground: It's warm in Michigan but not oppressively so. My basement dehumidifier is working overtime, though...I have to empty it at least twice a day.

	🥁 6:09pm Discotech Underground: Yep, my flowerbeds face west so they get dried out...I just empty the bucket out there and pour it on them. It makes them happy!
	🥁 6:10pm MOM WHIG: We're down to 88 and 60% humidity now at 6:09pm
	🥁 6:11pm Discotech Underground: We are lucky here in that it's only been as high as the mid 80's this time around. We were in the upper 90's during the earlier heat wave this year.
	🥁 6:11pm Discotech Underground: I think a trip to the Lake Michigan beach might be in order this weekend!

	🥁 6:23pm Discotech Underground: MOM-They had some algae issues this year up by where I go at Saugatuck. They shut down a few beaches because of it. Plus the rip tides have been bad this year...quite a few drownings!

Discotech Underground is actually two...two...two shows in one!

The first half is a "Happy Hour" of sorts (because it's five o'clock somewhere, right?), spinning the kinds of sounds you might have heard at a real, authentic 1960's DISCOTECH as cool cats and swingin' chicks danced the night away in their mod threads and mini skirts to hard-driving sounds under the flashing lights! The only thing missing are the cage dancers...but we're working on it!

The second half is for when you head home after a wild night, and ease in with the heady, trippy, mind-expanding sounds of a groovy free-form UNDERGROUND rock radio station that digs deep into their library and blows your mind all over again!
