HOLY CRAP, U GUYS: I went to an actual music show yesterday! Outside in Brooklyn. It was AMAZING. Suzy Hotrod was there, and Paul Bruno and Nate K. and Tom Dash and other listeners. Perfect Brooklyn evening and rock and stinking roll! Can't recommend it enough!

Daybreak & Wide Open Friday!:
I’ve been having a hard time getting my students to volunteer for one on one conferences to finish out their year, so I told them I was going to bring in my giant Abe Lincoln hat and I put everybody’s name in and pull out the order.
Then, as these things happen my Abe Lincoln hat had made a daring escape!
Fortunately, when I went to the vast Halloween costume box, digging down I found my wife’s Tricorner hat complete with a gentle fluffy white feather.
If you’re looking for positive attention, I definitely recommend wearing a Tricorner hat in a public place.
