Welcome to an extended version of our Byrds show from 2011. Because the original program ran more than two hours, it has never before aired in full on WFMU. Additionally, in light of David Crosby's passing nearly an hour of music has been added for your enjoyment!

↳ Song: "Tried So Hard" by "Gene Clark"
cool "early LA" version I suspect... the backing vocals are so intricate and cool.

↳ Song: "You Ain't Goin' Nowhere (mono 45)" by "The Byrds"
wow, you can hear more of Gram on organ on this single version and less pedal steel on the verses (which sound a bit more psychedelic), and GP is more prominent on lower third backing vocals in the chorus.

↳ Song: "All I Have Are Memories" by "The Byrds"
Really not a bad song! A pity that Kevin Kelley didn't get any backing vocal support from his bandmates and that this song remained buried for so long.
