Avatar 3:26pm
Debbie Davenport:

Avatar 3:27pm
Dolor-X:

Maybe! The primate theme was more organic and plentiful.
Avatar 3:30pm
Debbie Davenport:

Thank you so much for details like that. When we hunt these things down sometimes it's hard to choose and the price is about the same.
Avatar 3:31pm
DJ Major Sally:

Crackers is The Sweet’s original guitarist, Frank Torpey!
Avatar 3:32pm

Avatar 3:50pm
Mr Fab:

Hello sparkling kittens and glam kings! Lemme ask you sumthin: what’s your impression of David Essex? Mrs Fab has the “Rock On” album which I’ve never listened to just cuz the title track never really thrilled me too much, but the lp features Alan Hawkshaw and Jeff Wayne on Moog/keys, and someone credited with Ondes Martinet, so looks intriguing.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:53pm
Otis Fodder:

Hi Don & Noah. Tuned up!
  3:53pm
Milkies:

BTW, Mr Fab you’re godhead
Avatar 3:54pm
zivilars:

Hello and happy new year everybody
Avatar 3:56pm
Debbie Davenport:

Around 7 I had Jigsaw on vinyl. I was remembering it as disco music. Maybe it was on a comp with disco music or it's a different band. Part of this weeks homework!
Avatar 4:01pm
Dolor-X:

Glam chipmunks back there? Someone had to ask, may as well be me.
  4:02pm
Milkies:

Dug them glam chipmunks
Avatar 4:04pm
Dolor-X:

The Hanky Panky song reminded me of something Sparks would do.
Avatar 4:07pm
Debbie Davenport:

oh I didn't have that exact single, but had a Jigsaw song. sorry for being confusing. I can't remember the song. I do remember liking it. Ihave to clean my living room so I can get at my records.
Avatar 4:08pm
DJ Major Sally:

I’ve never met anyone that liked (or admitted they did) that Fire song. Completely different from the classic “My Father’s Name Is Dad”.
Avatar 4:08pm
Dolor-X:

Our hosts are way in touch with the chat room, thanks for responding guys.
Avatar 4:09pm
Debbie Davenport:

They are! and they have so much to keep track of too.
Avatar 4:13pm
Mr Fab:

Their trained chimps are doing all the work, so Don can Noah can sit back and chat. Oh, for a studio cam!
Avatar 4:14pm
Mr Fab:

You should see 'em in their cute little suits and roller skates.

The chimps, not Don and Noah.

But they probably are too.
Avatar 4:15pm
DJ Jules:

Avatar 4:17pm

Mr. Fab I've imagined all kinds of stuff like that.

Avatar 4:26pm
Debbie Davenport:

I went down a jigsaw rabbit hole that i'm paralleling this chat comment thread with. That's about about as much tech multi tasking that I can handle.
Avatar 4:29pm
DJ Major Sally:

Look for the Ricardo Rolfs schlager version of “Let’s Go To The Moon”, a good version.
Avatar 4:30pm
Mr Fab:

was that the same The Equals that featured Eddy "Electric Ave" Grant?
Avatar 4:32pm
Kitten Sparkles:

Yes Mr. Fab !!
Avatar 4:38pm
DJ Major Sally:

Debbie, I have the first four Jigsaw singles, all amazing, but pricey. Completely different than what their famous for, very soul and psych, even a bubblegum track, “Goody Lollipop Man”!
Avatar 4:42pm
Mr Fab:

Your comment about "Shout it Out" - "like if Kiss was really good" - had me laffin, as that's exactly what i was thinking when I heard that fine toe-tapper.
Avatar 4:42pm
Debbie Davenport:

I just sent in a best offer for the one we heard here DJ Major Sally. I noticed on their wikipedia page they made music for a really long time.I was mostly exposed to them 73-75 but only barely It's been so long since I've thought about them and heard them!
Avatar 4:44pm
Debbie Davenport:

When I was buying these records, or asking other people to buy them for me, I didn't know such a thing as record stores existed. I was buying all of mine at Mars Department store then.
Avatar 4:45pm
Debbie Davenport:

Or the sheet music shop.
Avatar 4:52pm
Debbie Davenport:

I Love this one!!!
Avatar 4:53pm
DJ Major Sally:

Debbie, that is awesome!
Avatar 4:53pm
Mr Fab:

I can't imagine life without record stores! But the agian, I was lucky - I had a big sis who would go to them. This was back when they also sold, er, smoking paraphernalia, as well as records, tapes and 8-tracks.
Avatar 4:54pm
Debbie Davenport:

That must of been exciting Mr Fab. to see the adult style stuff. I used to feel like certain album covers weren't meant for us to see.
Avatar 4:55pm
Debbie Davenport:

I"m sure that whipped cream album cover disturbed many kids.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:58pm
