	12:43am jesse in illinois: bands are like double dinner dates but you have to do all the cooking n dishes. i dont have any bands now cuz life is too hectic, so i just sit around and make up band names and music sketches for now
	12:43am Bri The Beatnik: But the band experience for me, I had a major crush on the guy I was in the band and we were 16 so it was hard to concentrate so I was like OMG, I’m alone with the guy I really like making music. It was mostly just me and him, his brother helped us but he wanted someone else for the drummer, until he told me we didn’t click. We also had a band that never got together. We just formed.
	12:44am coelacanth∅))): i was in a punkrock band a million years ago. we didn't get far. me, just the lowly drummer, wanted to work on originals but the 2 guitarists just wanted quick results so the few times we played out we played NO originals. frustrating. the one guy wanted us to be a clash cover band. we played 4-5 clash songs as it was. i was more into the clash than any of them, and turned them all onto it; but i'm not into hero worship. bass player wanted to play yes and doors. that wasn't going to happen!

	1:18am slugluv1313: Soul Kitchen is on X's first LP, Los Angeles -- seeing them do this live back then was freakin' amazing (i remember Xene wearing this fringed purple suede jacket -- at a time when wearing "hippie" stuff like this was considered so totally uncool, hah!)

	1:31am coelacanth∅))): Jello's voice doesn't bother me. i just wrote them off when (frankenchrist) the preachiness far outweighed anything else they had going for them. another of my favorite bands turned to shit over night.

	12:43am jesse in illinois: bands are like double dinner dates but you have to do all the cooking n dishes. i dont have any bands now cuz life is too hectic, so i just sit around and make up band names and music sketches for now
	12:43am Bri The Beatnik: But the band experience for me, I had a major crush on the guy I was in the band and we were 16 so it was hard to concentrate so I was like OMG, I’m alone with the guy I really like making music. It was mostly just me and him, his brother helped us but he wanted someone else for the drummer, until he told me we didn’t click. We also had a band that never got together. We just formed.
	12:44am coelacanth∅))): i was in a punkrock band a million years ago. we didn't get far. me, just the lowly drummer, wanted to work on originals but the 2 guitarists just wanted quick results so the few times we played out we played NO originals. frustrating. the one guy wanted us to be a clash cover band. we played 4-5 clash songs as it was. i was more into the clash than any of them, and turned them all onto it; but i'm not into hero worship. bass player wanted to play yes and doors. that wasn't going to happen!
