I've been looking forward to this show

P-90:

There were sequences with terrific, memorable scores in that movie, really unfortunate that much of it wasn’t available for so long (except of course on the movie itself.)

Mr. Pumpy:

YES! I love this track. I can see it all right now. ATV...bullet holes...
  7:24pm
P-90:

... and I hope Devon asks Grusin at some point about what discussions there might have been about what does and doesn’t sound “pirate-y” (and why!) and what his approach was to getting a “pirate-y” sound in much of the score.

P-90:

re: Divorce American Style, I was literally talking with someone just yesterday about how you hear that electric harpsichord sprinkled into a theme for a movie or tv show, and you KNOW you’re in the mid-sixties...

Michael in Montclair:

My Dave Grusin intro was finding out about the credits to “There’s Something Funny Going On”, the theme song to “And Justice For All”. The musical style of that last track I just heard is so similar to “Something Funny”.

Devon, I love your show and the interviews you get to share with us. Thank you!

P-90:

Good Times is one of the all-time home runs, an absolutely HUGE , complete musical statement squeezed into a very short theme.

Excellent, thanks Devon & Dave.
