Every show starts with the ’70s! We’ll rediscover forgotten rockers, revisit unfairly maligned disco beats and replay power-pop favorites. Next: plenty of new releases, occasional live bands and more. Don’t let the nickname confuse you.

...& thinking - this is just typical Rawk'n' Roll ...& then thinking - yeah - but they're *goood* @ it...
McGroovey:
I grew up midway between Rochester and Syracuse, and we listened to the rock stations from Rochester (WCMF and WSAY-AM) and Utica (WOUR). eventually there was a Syracuse rock station, WAQX. WCMF and WOUR playlists included rock (what we'd now call classic rock) and new wave and a little punk. WSAY tended more toward metal, in the seventies sense (Black Sabbath, Uriah Heep). Kiss would have been on the AM pop stations, not the rock stations.
