Two months ago, I was going to my friend's show/party on my bike. One of the brake cables snapped on the way there. No biggy, I still have one brake. On the way home at 3am, the other brake snapped, I was going downhill head towards an intersection, and had to jump tuck and roll in the grass, and somehow managed not to really hurt myself (a miracle actually, as I hurt myself all the time doing mundane things all the time).

You don't have to finish your sentences. You don't have to finish your thoughts. You can speak in beautiful fragments. You can let go, as soon as you, you don't... It's OK, you can quote others. You don't have to create everything from whole cloth. You can weave a tapestry of everything that you've seen.

I've never been on a date, but I'm going to try to like the bartender, I'm going to try to entertain you in between your dates. You just finished the first date. It was really great. And I don't want you to forget about it. But I want you to feel OK on the way to your next one. I've actually been on that date that you're about to go on. That date is going to look at you. That date is going to look you right in the eye. You're going to want to get closer to that date. You might remember that the device in your pocket has a power button, and you might turn it off during your next date.
  4:28pm
Timeshift northguineahills:

I don't think I ever went on a date w/ my wife. Met her djing in Mexico. Kept in touch online. Visited each other a few times, then she moved in w/ me in Brooklyn to go to grad school. Although, now, we joke we remotely watch movies together, me in FL, her in NYC, that it's a date night.
Avatar 4:29pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

It might turn out that this thing that you're on now, this thing that isn't a date, you might start to miss it later. You might start to appreciate things about it. It might turn on ideas in your head. Maybe tomorrow, during tomorrow's date, you're going to go to the bathroom, and you're just going to sit there, and you're going to think, wait, maybe entirely different things are possible. Maybe something else completely different. Something that doesn't have a shape. A format that you can't name. You don't have to stay on the page. You can go right off. You can do it tomorrow, you can do it on your next date, you can do it right now. You can just do it right now.
Avatar 4:33pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

We recognize no authority save that within ourselves.
Avatar 4:41pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

It's just a dream, and I like being woken up from dreams, because I can reflect on having had them. Otherwise I'd be really annoyed if someone started talking to me in my dream. You don't have to be awake when you're awake. You really don't have to stick to these roles at all. Maybe you already know this, but I'm giving you external validation. You don't have to stick to these roles at all. You might be afraid of what happens, what you think might happen. You're just a very creative being. You have a lot of imagination. You could create positive situations in your mind, positive situations that are going to come to you. You make some choices. Maybe you were rewarded when you were a child for making choices that reflected that you were afraid to do it differently, and so you create these situations in your mind that reflect that you're afraid to do it differently. But you can create different situations.
