Handy: Wow! Created at the Carousel Bar at the Hotel Monteleone if I'm not mistaken. Hmm... I guess it's hard to substitute Benedictine, huh? Chartreuse, or would that be gross? But even without the Benedictine you've still got a Sazerac, don't you?

fred: Not too badly, fred, thanks for asking. My relatives are in San Pedro Sula, and the main part of the second hurricane went through south of there. But they had no water for a while after the first one and lots of rain. Waiting to get the current scoop from my aunt.

I'm making Handy's Spicy Brussels Sprouts for tomorrow and then a tomato sauce and my Italian Crescent Roll Surprise for Saturday. Kate's making corn puddin' and a Frito pie out of the super chili she made on Sunday.

Shite cheese selection. Decent beer prices. Really good prices on nice citrus for some reason. Only makes eggs until 10 AM, which can be annoying. And the only store that consistently has bitters and Bloody Mary mix.

@mariano: It means the coming together of them three heavy planets (see Jupiter & Saturn for yourself after sunset coming together until the day of Winter Solstice as it happens - you can't see Pluto...) which correlates to all the stuff now is right on top of your Sun @ the end of Capricorn. Kinda getting personal with it.

Was just buzzing around the trail at dusk here. I trained the Ayler cat to walk a 1/2 mile of it this week. Now he is like a dog in the AM and actually growls at me if we don't do the sunrise venture.

Thanks, Scott! What a wonderful ride. Given the state of, oh, every damn thing, I am not very thankful for freaking Thanksgiving this year (I guess it's my favorite genocide-celebrating holiday of the month, though). But I sure am thankful for you, WFMU, and all the fine, fine folx here assembled. May wonderful things accumulate for you all, especially peace.
