I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Handy: brilliant! DDD he'll be from now on.

Ian Bannen was great as Jim Prideaux. And, despite the film's considerable alterations to the narrative, I thought Mark Strong played the role really well in the 2011 version. One of my favorite scenes in any novel is the part in "Tinker, Tailor" where Prideaux is in Czechoslovakia, slowly coming to the realization that he's being tailed, and all the moves he makes to shake his tailers.

Hey Sylvia, bon après-midi.

@chresti - another tip: walking barefoot (outside if you can - or at least around the house) is really awesome

@chresti - if you think you even might have a serious condition - then please disregard everything I just said and see a specialist ASAP. (reason being: yoga can actually mess you up if you have a serious condition, and push yourself too far)

chresti: That's one of the most horrible kinds of pain. I hope it goes away soon. Get Franco to make you a pie. Sure, it won't cure anything, but on the other hand, pie.

Will do, Honeybear, thanks!

Does anyone else have the horrible fear that if one day we are lucky enough to meet Rev. Turnip Druid in person, we'll find their face is all beat to hell, nose broken and rebroken, cheekbones reduced to talus slopes, all from being late to hear favorite songs on FMU and autogolpeing INNA FACE? Rev.: ease up on the moneymaker!

Also: hi!

Thanks, john, I'm old.

@chresti: I've had excrutiating sciatica and hip bursitis pain. The best stretches involved looping an exercise band around a door knob, lying on the floor, then putting your heel in the loop. Slowly stretching/bouncing can help the muscles to get back into position.

Another one is lying on the floor, put your leg up on a wall heel against the wall as high as you can without pain, then just hold that position for at least 30 seconds. Work up to 1-2 minutes. I found those on the Kaiser Permanente website years ago.

@Handy: No, he'll be alright. His secret is eating a puffin drenched in sriracha after each punching session. The combination has amazing regenerative properties

Also @chresti: These two physical therapists have extremely helpful videos for various ailments. Their tips have helped me through some awful injuries and pain.

I also recommend a Thera-Cane. I use it almost daily on pressure points.

That will also help with the global puffin surplus, fred! I should never have doubted.

Handy, the Reverend was born with a strange abnormality: his hands are made of Victoria sponge. So, self-administered hits are relatively harmless thankfully.

I am vastly reassured, friends. Not least in that those puffins I hear outside my windows, gathering in their numberless thousands, blotting out the sky with their fell wings, cutting off the world from itself, those puffins, vaunt and maleficent and inimical in their eldritch wisdom, the puffins that doomed mankind before we crawled from primordial slime -- that those self-same puffins will finally know hot, spicy justice!
