Is a loop a thing or an anti-thing?

I've been informed I should be here now so I am trying to be here now. So far so good.

Here's ifny.

Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

It looks like an essay, the transcript. I'd never have read such a thing if it had been handed to me.
  6/10 5:50pm
Isa:

You mean you just started speaking... and that's what came out?
Avatar 6/10 5:52pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

That's it. As I said in the first sentence, "if I had something to say...," because I knew I didn't. I just turned on the mic and tried. By sentence 3, huh, there's something, all right...
  6/10 5:52pm

hi ken!
Avatar 6/10 5:52pm

I wouldn't have even done the show at all except I'm scheduled to. So, surprise, every little bit of all of this, this is what happens when one gets out of one's way.

Big Magic!!!
Avatar 6/10 5:54pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

When we speak up even though we believe we have no voice, no permission, no expertise, no support...
  6/10 5:58pm

You got support here, right?

What is email to send aud clip to you?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6/10 6:08pm
WR:

Or I can do the FMU contact process. I'm just too slow to grab the address when it was announced.
Avatar 6/10 6:10pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

I most often don't believe I have support. Belief is everything. A lot of people have a lot more power than they believe. Lessons start early, run deep.

Avatar 6/10 6:11pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

A crowd of people will stand by and let two people do great harm, because each person in the crowd believes they don't have enough power to stop those two people.
  6/10 6:17pm
Miranda:

And they believe someone else will stop them; or worse, that it must be wrong to stop them because no one else is doing it.
Avatar 6/10 6:18pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Decorum.
Avatar 6/10 6:20pm

It's not polite to point (out truths).
  6/10 6:22pm

I'll be there for you as you learn rudeness, Ken.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6/10 6:22pm

What I sent is of little content of low value unless you are able to drop it into a point where it might have a context in others POV.
Avatar 6/10 6:23pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

(and low volume, to boot) thanks!
  6/10 6:28pm
Isa:

Or that they will be next at suffering from the same harm
Avatar 6/10 6:28pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Oh I just remembered a show from around 1995, where I had some Malcolm X speeches on reel-to-reel tapes, and I was live mixing them with a sampling machine and production studio console and dancing.
Avatar 6/10 6:29pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

@Isa Because, like them until that point, nobody will join in and become the powerful mass.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6/10 6:30pm
Aitch:

Only noticed your show recently, the alt streams on WFMU generally, very interesting. Watching the USA unravel from afar (Sydney) very disturbing.
Avatar 6/10 6:31pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

...watching the unravel get closer to the surface...
Avatar 6/10 6:32pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Hi, Carmichael, WR, and Aitch!
  6/10 6:35pm
Isa:

Sometimes somebody reacts with great courage, even without support. Thank you for speaking Ken.
  6/10 6:36pm
Miranda:

@Aitch I'd argue the USA has been this unraveled the whole time. Yes, just getting closer to the externally visible surfaces.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6/10 6:40pm
Aitch:

If the whole Trump fiasco does anything positive it's the overdue revolution in the way (at least some people) think, as horrible as the actuality is.
Looking at the French solution in 1793, they gave you that statue for a reason.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6/10 6:40pm
WR:

RE: your comment about people standing by waiting for approval from others before doing something; this is very much a generalization but have experienced instances of individuals who speak up right away. And can recall tragic instance a year or so ago in the northwest USA when some men were murdered by a racist who was harassing two women of color and they spoke up. It is scary out there.
Avatar 6/10 6:45pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Yes, individuals are not always that powerful.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6/10 6:46pm
WR:

But yes, most often people lower their eyes and avoid conflict. PS: Malcom X was such an amazing human. Words spoken to public resonating forward and backward for the history of this country.
Avatar 6/10 6:46pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

So so so so so many individuals could be enmassing.
