	6:49pm Gaylord Fields: @Mr Fab: I started buying lounge/exotica/e-z listening LPs in the 80s at Sally Anns and the like, mainly because they were dirt cheap, and also because all the "Beautiful Music" formats were dying and I wanted to preserve that music.
	6:50pm Oats of Fodder: Still buying the beautiful music albums, since the 80s too. Rasputin's in Berkeley in the bay was my spot in the late 80s. Lately been buying a whole lot more too.

	6:53pm Webhamster Henry: I have some aircheck Cassettes from the Cocktail Hour too. I only have a few exotica records, so I rely on the on-air presentation of the dusty archives of exotica obsessives, mined from the dollar milk cartons under the record fair tables.

	6:54pm Oats of Fodder: I felt right at home a couple of years later in 1987 out of high school. The real connection happened when those re/search books came out and all sorts of cool folks started to connect big time.

	6:57pm Rich in Washington: Those Re/Search books definitely got me collecting again after sort of giving up on collecting. Raising toddlers and hoarding vinyl records didn't exactly go hand-in-hand, before that, too.

	6:49pm Gaylord Fields: @Mr Fab: I started buying lounge/exotica/e-z listening LPs in the 80s at Sally Anns and the like, mainly because they were dirt cheap, and also because all the "Beautiful Music" formats were dying and I wanted to preserve that music.
	6:50pm Oats of Fodder: Still buying the beautiful music albums, since the 80s too. Rasputin's in Berkeley in the bay was my spot in the late 80s. Lately been buying a whole lot more too.

	6:54pm Oats of Fodder: I felt right at home a couple of years later in 1987 out of high school. The real connection happened when those re/search books came out and all sorts of cool folks started to connect big time.
