	1:10pm kpx: you really can't look for signs that summer is over in the cool early morning. for example, last year I went outside in the yard close to twilight, and it seemed unusually quiet and calm, and then a gust of cool air kicked up which swept along some brown leaves that tumbled by me. I felt a chill for the first time all summer. even though the trees we're still basically green, I looked around and notice for the first time a few leaves turning yellow.

(recalling the three times i saw The Clash at The Palladium in NYC -- B-Girls opened, Sam and Dave, Mickey Dread, etc. -- i do not recall anyone booing them or anything -- i mean, a ton of audience members were dancing on stage with Sam and Dave, and to this day, i still see people looking for photographs of that!)
