	4:07pm Mr Fab: Exactly, chresti. Don’s Tuesday show, the Fantastic World of Kitten Sparkles, is basically a Glossololia-type show, only now thanks to WFMU’s awesome archving, the shows will be preserved, not vanishing into the ether, as most of Don’s KXLU shows have done.

	4:10pm Mr Fab: Well, KXLU is on a university campus, so it’s shut down. Would love to get KXLU djs here, such a wealth of talent. But the tech thing is a turn-off to them. So far, only Kitten Bolles has successfully wrestled with the home-studio dilemma

	4:16pm Mr Fab: It really is such a great system. When I thought of this channel, I had two ideas on who should host it - 1) WFMU, and 2) someplace else
	4:17pm Franco Twinkie: Don is leading the charge into the dystopian 21st century meltdown. Those folks who like to go into a real radio station better wake up and smell the coffee, or get a job selling oranges on a traffic island.
	4:18pm zivilars: Mr Fab: A huge thank you in general for this fantastic station – IMO it's the best one of all WFMU streams (main one included) and that also includes the community on the message board here

	5:08pm Martinibomb: Let me say I totally get the Mic thing. I come from more of a club Dj thing and it was the HARD for me. I still struggle but.. it's all good. It gets better and more fun. The Mic is like an instrument.

	5:14pm BC Sterrett: Mr. Fab, I may have Michael Brunelle, a private press record DJ who lost his radio station due to covid, record a segment for the first 15 or 30 minutes of my Friday shift so I can finish my online class. Would that be alright? He is also the actor who played Frankenstein and wrote the screenplay for the movie "Frankenstein's Planet of Monsters."

	5:28pm Spacebrother: Saw them in 1977 the first time and a couple of years ago for the Hardcore tour, which was a spiritual experience.

	5:30pm Mr Fab: Uncontrollable Urge, the highlight of Devo live, with them all lined up shoulder to shoulder, kick-stepping in time, like robot Rockettes.
	5:31pm Franco Twinkie: Devo was the best. When everyone else was trying to figure out what the hell this new thing called 'punk' was, they just came into town and smashed everything to pieces. Out front and kicking ass in a major way, they did.
	5:33pm Mr Fab: My high school new wave band covered “Mongoloid.” Wowed them catholic achoold kiddies at the annual talent show. (Tho it was our cover of Trio’s “Da Da Da” that got em dancin)

	5:41pm Kitten Sparkles: I found out about DEVO when I went to visit the Residents, whose studio was really close tto where i was living in SF. That was an incredible day for young nerd me..Meeting (and getting really stoned with the Residents, who played me the song they had just mixed on the big studio speakers. Satisfaction!!!! The set for Vileness - w the atomic shopping carts) was downstairs from the control room. On my way out I was really stond but managed to ask the main guy if he knew of anything good coming to SF soon. He said, yeh, this new band called Tyhe Deevolutio Band, who do films and dress up and are prett cool" And he gave me a press kit they sent him and one of the 2 copies of Jocko homo/ Mongoloid, whih was all they had out.
	5:41pm Otis Fodder: 3 types of plums Franco, sorta greenish, sorta pinkish, much reddish.
	5:42pm solo mon: Water melons is my passion too ARB but they are so disappoint ing some times. I have to hold back.
	5:42pm Otis Fodder: We are doing rice and soy tofu marinated buffalo style bites with mushrooms and tomatoes all mixed up for supper... plus have chocolate and vanilla ice cream from a local tiny shop for dessert.
	5:43pm Franco Twinkie: I bought a bunch of Dapple Dandies last Sunday, and they are hands down the best I've had all Summer.
	5:43pm Rich in Washington: Oh wow, Kitten. Is that Pre-Minna Street studio days? You must know dAs, who was their Ralph Records shipping guy.
	5:43pm ARB: I had a swirly watermelon once, it defied logic. but usually the bad ones are still good if you blend them up
	5:43pm Martinibomb: My friend Brian is a good friend of the band and has worked for them on/off over the years. Mark took him to see Tiffany and said, you'll thank me for this.
	5:43pm Otis Fodder: Not many veggies or fruits I don't eat. Both Sondy and I will pass on the Brusselllll sprouts, more for you.
	5:44pm Rich in Washington: I just picked a ton o' plums on my walk at work this week. They're ripening in a bowl on my kitchen counter.

	5:45pm Franco Twinkie: I only eat plums that are red or purple on the inside. I don't like yellow plums.
	5:45pm zivilars: such a powerful show, must have been awesome to be there
	5:45pm ARB: Yes more for me! I like all vegetables, only one fruit I won't touch

	5:49pm chresti: My favorite plums are the santa rosa plums, the lighter shade of red ones, smaller the better.
	5:49pm Kitten Sparkles: Yup. Beyond. That was a killer couple of months for music me. Met the Residents, saw Devo, and like a month something previous sawe the Screamers first actual venue show, at the Stqrwood, w David Brown on keyboards. the original guy!!!

	5:51pm chresti: Oh yeah, Otis, the Screamers, I met David around the time he joined the Eyes.
	5:52pm Franco Twinkie: There is a tree in San Francisco right around the corner from where Chresties son lives. Last Summer, we got there to late and they were all on the sidewalk! I said to myself - Never again!
	5:54pm Rich in Washington: We had two yellow plum trees but a bear broke all the limbs off one of them trying to get those sweet ripe plums and they killed it.
	5:55pm zivilars: I'm kicking myself that I didn't record this gem from the beginning ... Please let Kenzo not recognise that the "official" show was already over and keeping this live set in the archives, too

	4:07pm Mr Fab: Exactly, chresti. Don’s Tuesday show, the Fantastic World of Kitten Sparkles, is basically a Glossololia-type show, only now thanks to WFMU’s awesome archving, the shows will be preserved, not vanishing into the ether, as most of Don’s KXLU shows have done.

Would that be alright? He is also the actor who played Frankenstein and wrote the screenplay for the movie "Frankenstein's Planet of Monsters."

	5:31pm Franco Twinkie: Devo was the best. When everyone else was trying to figure out what the hell this new thing called 'punk' was, they just came into town and smashed everything to pieces. Out front and kicking ass in a major way, they did.

	5:41pm Kitten Sparkles: I found out about DEVO when I went to visit the Residents, whose studio was really close tto where i was living in SF. That was an incredible day for young nerd me..Meeting (and getting really stoned with the Residents, who played me the song they had just mixed on the big studio speakers. Satisfaction!!!! The set for Vileness - w the atomic shopping carts) was downstairs from the control room. On my way out I was really stond but managed to ask the main guy if he knew of anything good coming to SF soon. He said, yeh, this new band called Tyhe Deevolutio Band, who do films and dress up and are prett cool" And he gave me a press kit they sent him and one of the 2 copies of Jocko homo/ Mongoloid, whih was all they had out.
