Visit LitHub (lithub.com...) for a curated list of Black-owned bookstores. Roger, I bought a book at the JC Word when Kate and I were on your side of the rivers to volunteer on March 15! It felt so exotic to shop in the other location. And then early on in all this, my job gave all employees $100 reiumbursement for purchases at independent bookstores (we're in nonprofit publishing), so the Brooklyn location got some love, too!
