Nutmeg:

Inspired by BC Sterrett's Lost Media Archive show last Friday, slowing it down while we let the tarts cool on the window sill. I will play Nutmeg for this show, please pick your ingredient of choice and let the trumpets softly blow your name.

I’ve been so much clearer ever since I gave up eating food and just started smelling it instead. My body, my mind. Empty. Free. Mindless. Wasteless.

Sweet solo, I alternate between two states: malaise and saudade. Smell your soul! Hi "Chopped Liver"!

Hey choppy! It sure sucks when the label falls off and you get mistaken for cat food. Pate problems.
Avatar 11:19am

I don't really mind being mistaken for catfood, cats know how to savor the flavor

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:22am
In Rich Syrup:

I've discussed being eaten by our cats after I die but my family balked at the estimate of getting me all canned up or dried into bagged food.

Nutmeg:

Eyeballs can be very moist, just ask any resident.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:24am

Nutmeg I think eyes are generally the entry point for when cats eat their owner.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:25am
In Rich Syrup:

My cats would just make a mess, based on the mice, squirrels and chipmunks they've been leaving around. There'd be forgotten bits of me all over the house.

Rich why are you not recording these dream stories for my show?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:02pm

I have this superstition that recording them will make them stop. I noticed that when I think I can do something 'productive' or 'useful' they just slow down or I can't remember them.

I love this stuff, it reminds me of ambergris. I had a brief stint trying to hunt ambergris to get rich. But also to smell the real thing and not the synthetic

Otis, you can make a liver pie anytime. I suggest using some of those plums you have sitting on the counter to make a plum galette, or pie if you prefer. That's what I did yesterday, and boy oh boy, am I glad I did! Plums are almost over and unless you put some up, you won't have another chance until next year, an who knows if any of us are going to be around. Summer is almost gone. I think it was in irwin's book "Songs in the Key of Z" he mentions really being struck by hearing "Little Black Egg" as a youth.
Avatar 1:26pm

He wrote to a radio station asking about the song, and they actually sent him the record! Made him feel like a cool little dude.

Just tooting the Medium Cool horn here in the Chat: Wed, Sept 30th (4–7pm): Hologram Teen, a.k.a. Morgane Lhote (pictured above), just released her second solo album, a patchwork of acid-drenched funk, Congolese rhumba, astral jazz, and daisy-age hip-hop. She will be dropping by Medium Cool with Martinibomb on the Sheena's Jungle Room stream for a guest DJ set and chat. Morgane, it bears mentioning, spent some time playing with a little-known combo called Stereolab.
