	7:01pm northguineahills: @Sylvia, my wife is Mexican, and the only Spanish at the time I knew was from watching futbol en espanol (in the 90s and 2000s, football was hard to find on American TV). Problem is, she spoke perfect English, so, I only got to practice my spanish there, but her friends wanted to practice their English w/ me. It's not automatic, but at least my brain can translate.
	7:01pm Gaylord Fields: My teen-acqured Spanish used to be pretty tight intil I took a Portuguese course a decade ago. Now my Spanish sounds like an American pretending to be a Carioca who spent a few years in San Juan.
