Jaap Blonk / Antonin Artaud | Black Sun | To Have Done With the Judgement of God | Kontrans | 2020 | Antonin Artaud (French: [aʁto]; 4 September 1896 – 4 March 1948), was a French dramatist, poet, essayist, actor, and theatre director, widely recognized as one of the major figures of twentieth-century theatre and the European avant-garde. He is best known for conceptualizing a 'Theatre of Cruelty.' In the final phase of Artaud's life, which was spent in different asylums, his best known work "The Theatre and Its Double" (1938) was published. This book contained the 2 manifestos of the Theatre of Cruelty. There, "he proposed a theatre that was in effect a return to magic and ritual and he sought to create a new theatrical language of totem and gesture – a language of space devoid of dialogue that would appeal to all the senses....Words say little to the mind," Artaud wrote, "compared to space thundering with images and crammed with sounds." He proposed "a theatre in which violent physical images crush and hypnotize the sensibility of the spectator seized by the theatre as by a whirlwind of higher forces." He considered formal theatres with their proscenium arches and playwrights with their scripts "a hindrance to the magic of genuine ritual." | * | 2:09:09 (Pop-up) | |||

But - the moody Moon will shift over into deep feeling & penetrating Water sign Scorpio on Sunday morning @ 6:16 Eastern. The Moon in Scorpio has been said to correlate to 'forming a soul'.
Another notable shift is the Sun leaving his own bright Fiery sign of Leo - & entering the humble analytical Earth element sign of Virgo on Saturday morning the 22nd @ 11:15 Eastern. So we enter the technical last sign of Summer & the time of Labor Day & - traditionally anyhow! - Back to School. Virgo gets bad press for being a skeptical perfectionist nag - but it is the sign of Service - & I find there is an Earthy sweetness to the sign! ...& when you need practical details taken care of - hey guess who is everybody's best friend ??...
Leo is a Fixed sign - & Virgo is a Mutable sign. Fixed signs are the four signs in the middle of each (technical) season - & they focus energy & are steady & don't so much like change... Where your four Mutable signs end each (technical) season - & disperse that stored up energy - & are changing & adaptable. Virgo is Mutable - but also a practical sensual Earth element sign...
(& your four Cardinal signs begin each season with a pro-active oomph to get the wheel of the year going!...)
We are watching the challenging 90° Square aspect forming between fiery impulsive Mars in Aries & stony reality quotient planet Saturn in Capricorn - exact on Monday the 24th. They are both strong in their own signs! We would help ourselves to try & reconcile impulse & methodical goals ...& one always watches the News with an aspect like this... Because warrior Mars will Retrograde during this unusually long stay of his in his own sign of firestarter Aries - this isn't the only time this 90° Square will happen - so let's see what we learn this time...

I choose 'correlate' for a reason. As for causation - I reconcile Astrology with known physical Science with Chaos Theory ~ Fractal Geometry ~ Systems Behavior research - as in James Glick's 'Chaos' book. Large Systems can be changed greatly by small changes in input - especially if persistent &/or periodic. & Systems repeat Fractally @ different levels - they are self-recursive @ different levels of the pattern. Scientific critiques of Astrology are short-sighted & reductive - & take no account of Cycles & archetypal epochs of time - much less Meaning...
