The next morning the horse returned, bringing with it three other wild horses. "How wonderful," the neighbors exclaimed. "Maybe," replied the old man.
The following day, his son tried to ride one of the untamed horses, was thrown, and broke his leg. The neighbors again came to offer their sympathy on his misfortune. "Maybe," answered the farmer.
The day after, military officials came to the village to draft young men into the army. Seeing that the son's leg was broken, they passed him by. The neighbors congratulated the farmer on how well things had turned out. "Maybe," said the farmer.

I'm on the top floor, and I love bass, but I want to be considerate of those downstairs. So if I got those speakers you put in the corners of the room, and attached them from the ceiling, could I do that with the bass?

Was really getting into Audio Dharma for Buddhism - frequent podcasts from a west coast place - but oddly in quarantine with all the time in the world I got completely distracted from them...should get back to it.

I guess the subwoofer if not placed on the floor reduces the bass you will hear too. Volume and Bass are a pain in butt in an Apt. thankfully i live where i can blast music at like 4 am if i want.
Having said all that, i listen so often just on my laptop anyway sadly... Hence why im so busy chatting away tonight

That happened to me with comics. I'm sure you've read my dramatic reasons for that.
I'm trying to reclaim my love for comics now.

have you contacted Legal Services of NJ yet?
if they are not able to help (and they SHOULD! they are the ones who publish Tenants Rights in NJ!), they should at least be able to refer you to someone who can:
www.lsnj.org
there is another Jersey City-based organization but i am spacing out on their name -- will try to find it for you

Fox:
I am trying to learn how to not feel loneliness, and I do not feel it as a oppressive sadness like I did in my early 20's, but I am a very talkative and social person by nature. I have adapted to the inevitability of my circumstance out of psychological necessity. Being chronically ill, plagued with migraine, and living below the poverty line, I am bound to spend a lot of time at home. I have to learn to live with that reality, and I have.
But my use of social media is compulsive and unfettered. If I were well enough to throw myself into a project to obsess over, I would do so. But the brain fog and inability to concentrate is significant.
I feel this would be easier to weather if I were surrounded by nature, as living around teeming life feels like refreshing solitude, not loneliness. I think (sub)urban life brings with it a level of loneliness that is it's own thing.
And so.... I am compelled to engage with social media.
