But a friend of mine was born and grew up in Royal Oak and basically discovered rock and roll as a toddler on the Boblo boat when the pouring of the steel coincided with the PA playing Pink Floyd. Born at Riverside Hospital August 19, 1960 in the shadow of the Ambassador Bridge. Used to go to the Bozo Show tapings in Windsor, Ontario with my Cub Scout Troop.
