	3:37pm Candy-O'67: I tell you what. The Aussie's have always known how to rock! Some of my all-time favorite bands are from there :)
	3:37pm Funky16Corners: The Peanut Butter Conspiracy, Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band and Strawberry Alarm Clock were all American
	3:37pm Mike Sin: The song publishing companies really worked the markets back in those days because of the high stakes... I love how "She Does Everything For Me" and "You're Gonna Miss Me" were given to Australian artists to break in that region.

	3:56pm Funky16Corners: Well, this one is pretty late in the game (1969), but the trends there followed everywhere else, beat, garage, psych, hard rock etc
	3:57pm Funky16Corners: There's a fantastic live version of this recorded a few years back at a festival in Australia

	4:39pm Funky16Corners: These guys actually played at the Green Parrot in Neptune, NJ on their (only, I think) American tour. They kicked ass.
	4:40pm Funky16Corners: No INXS this time but not out of the question in the future
	4:40pm Candy-O'67: I bet that was a good show, Larry
	4:40pm Funky16Corners: It was awesome. Tiny bar that a lot of great alternative bands played at because we had a commercial alternative station in the area
	4:43pm Candy-O'67: Cool! I actually saw them right before they hit it big back in Houston at a small club called Cardi's. I had a few girls I hung out with that were kind of groupies and we followed their tour bus to way west side of town where they were staying and sat at the bar and their roadies ended up talking to us and inviting us up to someone's room to party with the band! It was a blast! I was 16! One of my girlfriends traded T-shirts with Michael Hutchence! I'll never forget that!
	4:43pm Mike Sin: Dare I say, the only time I saw Midnight Oil was when they played in front of the Exxon headquarters in NYC after the Alaskan oil spill. The did a cover of "Instant Karma"

I had a few girls I hung out with that were kind of groupies and we followed their tour bus to way west side of town where they were staying and sat at the bar and their roadies ended up talking to us and inviting us up to someone's room to party with the band! It was a blast! I was 16! One of my girlfriends traded T-shirts with Michael Hutchence! I'll never forget that!
