Good afternoon Irene, hello one and all. Love the photo, a glimpse of what the Gary Numan concert could possibly look like in ten days time.

Irene, a bit of a bummer but this track isn't available to download via the trinity of hell, ie, Apple Music. this has got my radar humming, worth seeking out the cd, July?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:14pm
Irene Trudel:

You're too kind, Peter! Sean, that Neil Nappe album is quite old-- from the mid-1980's. All electronic and quite nice. Nova is my favorite track.

Avatar 1:21pm
gongoleer:

@Irene: What was cost for drive in concert? Cheshire Fairgrounds in Keene, NH is having one soon & cost os $60-$159/car. Guess the lesser will be wayyyyyy back of the field. back in the 80's, when I worked as entertainment photojournalist I photographed and met James Brown, Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins & Roy Orbison all on the same bill. An amazing show but tickets for the public weren't anywhere near as pricey as today's.

Avatar 1:28pm

@Irene. Good luck with surgery. You'll be in my thoughts and a healing prayer. I may need something similar on my left hand thumb. Something called trigger finger. It's inhibited my playing hand drums.
Avatar 1:29pm
gongoleer:

@ Malcolm. Where are you located?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:29pm
Irene Trudel:

Thanks Brian, Malcolm and gongoleer. I had the left hand done in March and it really wasn't so bad. I was back in action about a week later. And, as you say, "goodbye tingly fingers!" It's made such a difference.
Avatar 1:32pm
gongoleer:

That's encouraging. Mine comes and goes. So far no tingling, just finger joint locking up.

@ Brian UK. Cute. I'll have to remember that one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:35pm

gongoleer, the Gaffigan show was fairly expensive, but it was a per car fee. Doesn't exactly work for single people.
Avatar 1:39pm
gongoleer:

@Malcolm: Think I know where it is. Have relatives in Leicester, friends in London, & lived in Wales for 6 mos. years ago. Long story, not for here. I'm in small town of 12K in So. Vermont, not industrial, but quite seasonally touristy. It too has charms enough for me to be living here past 30 years. Thanks.
Avatar 1:42pm
gongoleer:

@Irene. I figured it was. No I wouldn;t think of going alone in car. At Lowe end of $60/car, load it with 4 or 5 people and cost is $12-$15.00. Reasonable.

Birdland is popular in this house, some might say it is more pop than jazz. Our family seems to like it and after dinner it gets the washing up done quickly, well it did before all the birds flew the nest.
