Yay LCD! It was right after I discovered WFMU on the radio, so I considered it a message from the universe.

I got my vinyl copy of the NY Dolls LP for $1.99 at Venus’s basement in 1992 or so. It was when everyone was switching to CDs and ditching their vinyl. But not me!
