what really helps is actual "old fashioned" USPS letters to elected officials, prosecutors, judges -- ESPECIALLY if you live in that city/state/area -- "I live here and I VOTE!" carries a lot of weight

In the fall and onward ... I listened to FMU, FDU, BAI ... but mainly Tom Waits and Nick Cave and the VU. In large doses. I was orphaned in that Sept. when my dad died, graduating from college, and probably even more way too much substances. My writing from that time is all poems and papers.
