I remember ripping a great crazy religious record and there was this persistent clipping/distortion sound and I ended up tearing my turntable apart until I realized it was the result of trying to cram 28 minutes on one side of an LP which resulted in it sounding awful. Super common with older spoken word LPs, unfortch.
