A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

@Crudbringer cooperating might not be the best word, but not everything is zero-sum. Trees provide each other with nutrients via huge underground fungal systems. Reciprocal altruism was an important discovery in evolutionary theory.
Crudbringer:
I had a big falling-out with my holy-roller manager this week. He approvingly quoted Elon Musk, and said "He's not afraid to say what he thinks, even if it's unpopular!"
I said, "Maybe it's unpopular because it's stupid."
Him: "Nope."
Now he's acting all butt-hurt. I can't see why. I was just saying what I think, without caring whether it was a popular thing to say. I had been hoping it would increase his respect for me.

Mayo was invented in Menorca, a Catalan island in the Balearics. The French occupied it for a while and claimed it, but it's Mahon sauce. That island is paradise! Mayo, cheese, horses, tomato-garlic soup, and the densest concentration of Bronze Age ruins in the Mediterranean. Oh, and 300 beaches.
