One of the good things about visiting my parents, is they had a friend who sourced a new bumper for me cheaply, and provided the labor for free, so instead of the quotes I was getting in the $900-$1000 range, it cost me all of $230.

Speaking of nature taking back the land, there is a golf course near my parents that closed a year ago, and there are already baby trees and other undergrowth taking over the fairways. The old golf cart paths make good bike trails...(no security to chase me off like when I was a kid).
