yesterday in a Zoom Women's Circle -- another mentioned Handmaid's Tale; i had gotten the first season on DVD from the library (before everything closed!) and had been watching that -- i had to agree with her how it all just resonated a LITTLE too strongly right now
also had watched 1973's Westworld, Dallas Buyer's Club -- geez!

Mariano (I'm just going to start capping your name now that I know you like it), doing OK! Sat in the sun for a while, which felt great.
Our Bandcamp haul:
LINGUA IGNOTA: Caligula and All Bitches Die
Slum of Legs
Baby Shakes: complete discography on sale!
Wucan: Reap the Storm
Eyelids: Accidental Fall
Slift: Ummon
And I sent Kate's band's album to a friend (Creek and Kills, if you want to give it a listen).
@Franco: I vastly prefer getting at least a CD so we can listen in the car on road trips but have resigned myself to just DLs when that's what there is.

Ya, the Andamese and Nicobarese are quite interesting - I bribed my way onto those islands in the late 90s for a project (shhh). Currently I'm not there but amongst the Hokkien Chinese (with thai or malaysian passports) and the "sea gypsies" (Moken).

stereolab.bandcamp.com...
I remember working a crappy office job and going to Kim’s on Bleecker and buying the “Too Pure” import of “Peng!” for maybe $24 and it was a tough buy. Barely had any cash.
But got the first “Switched On” collection via “Slumberland Records” mail order (for like $10 or $12) and being blown away.
Anyway… The weird thing about Stereolab’s vinyl reissues is I always saw them as CD band.
