mariano...form the last thread... 'Hey man, I heard you can get me a set of Guatemalan cuckoo clocks made out of marzipan.' "Are you a fucking cop?!" 'White Ray sent me.' "Shit...why didn't you say so?! How many do you need?"

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09pm

Yep. I've seen it. I've seen this one (DR9) too. I think it's even slower (though I like them both)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:10pm

yeah, here we go! been lookin forward to part two. thanks for doing this y'all!

Devon E. Levins:

Hi All, ready for week two??
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:15pm
Mr. Pumpy:

ultra...I don't mind me some slow filmage. I once joked with a friend that if some obnoxious movie reviewer uses the term "like watching paint dry" in a derogatory sense, I'm bound to like it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:17pm
mariano:

I remember when Matthew Barney's Cremaster Cycle/exhibition was on at the Guggenheim and some NYC theaters. What a mindfuck. A friend of mine when to an MB performance at some NYC gallery where apparently he had an actual bull and was trying to put something in its ass. Or so she swears! I think he managed to get a black-market bull from White Ray, but you didn't hear that from me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:17pm
Mr. Pumpy:

How I Ended This Summer is an enjoyable slow Russian film. Just popped into my mind. Some suspense as well.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:17pm
mariano:

*...friend of mine *went* to an MB performance...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:18pm
ultradamno:

I remember Squirrel Bait from The Jockey Club days. Saw them open for Hüsker Dü once
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:18pm
Mr. Pumpy:

White Ray...it's a supply and demand type o thang.
Avatar 7:18pm
Richard S:

@Mr. Pumpy - Are you familiar with the movie "Paint Drying" (2016)? www.imdb.com... It was made as a way to get back at the British ratings people, who charged filmmakers a huge fee to have their movies rated.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:19pm
Mr. Pumpy:

I've only heard of it...I'll have to challenge myself some day! How did that ever pan out...did they watch it all? Are there 3-4 frame runs of hardcore porn and violence snuck in there?
Avatar 7:20pm
Richard S:

Apparently, someone on the Ratings Board had to watch all ten hours.....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21pm
ultradamno:

I bet you have to go through White Ray to get to meet regular Ray. Pain in the ass.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:24pm
mariano:

Regular Ray is the brains of the outfit.
  7:25pm
queems:

i think met justine kurland? if it’s the one who taught at icp bard
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:28pm
Mr. Pumpy:

Regular Ray is exploiting White Ray. He just sits around in his mom's basement with his XBox and Microwave designated solely for Hot Pockets while White Ray puts his life on the line on the outside for a pittance.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:28pm
ultradamno:

The Tallahatchie Bridge bridgehunter.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:30pm
ultradamno:

And White Ray, in turn, exploits Skeeter, Fast Eddie and the other corner kids.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:31pm
ultradamno:

...but Skeeter has plans that don't include White Ray.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37pm
mariano:

Sounds like we have the makings of an Elmore Leonard story here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:39pm
Mr. Pumpy:

Will Skeeter ascend? Guess we'll have to tune in...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:44pm
ultradamno:

For some reason, the movie that came to mind with 'compilation' approach to scoring was Times Square, 111 min movie, double album and The Cars song got cut en.wikipedia.org...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm
BVP:

Yes! we need y'all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm

Great show tonight!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm

Saturday Night Fever is the probably one to blame though.
