I believe it's Terrence McNally, the playwright that passed today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:05pm

or has, whatever.

JakeGould:

I wonder though if Robert Longo mixed up the two Terrence’s in his mind. Because I can’t find reported news anywhere else on Terrence Malik.

did he have a theremin?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:06pm

Me either and he's one that would show up pretty quickly.

British Film Institute recently (15.6.2018) had a viewing of After Cease To Exist (brand new 2K scan) and others, it was called "After the Happening:
Ritual Industrial Performance SPACE Films". Has anyone here seen any copy of the film?

Got an archive of early Derek Jarman works, mostly shorts on Super 8, many with Psychic TV/GPO music (and it's easy to add music to those that are silent). If anyone's interested, PM me and I'll send you a link to the cloud folder they're on.

@7:28 mariano: I was present when Throbbing Gristle performed a live soundtrack to In The Shadow Of The Sun and other Jarman movies at Tate Modern Turbine Hall in London, weirdly I do not remember In The Shadow Of The Sun, only the other movies. there was a choir conducted by conducted by Hildur Guðnadóttir. HUGE natural reverb because of the space. If it is OK, I will PM you about the link
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm

Is none of the footage in this video for the movie? www.youtube.com...

ca. 1980 I would carry my TG records around religiously like bibles. Maybe you could play some some of the oldies. Regardless, loving the show

Thanks for listening and the comments, All! Although it is a huge bummer to continually lose all of these musical and cinematic heroes, I do enjoy the opportunity to revisit and highlight some of their most interesting and often overlooked works.
Avatar 7:53pm
Photocopy Cha Cha:

thanks mariano! Don't envy me, like I said, not many memories of the films, i was at the very back of the turbine hall (i seem to remember it as an entrance to the tate modern), it was like a ramp, people sitting on cushions. i do remember a short film in the end of the set, with (most likely) gay men dancing on a roof(top??- could remember this wrong) while TG played somewhat jazzy music to this.
