It also can attribute someone keen to celebrate carnival or an active member of carnival-related organizations. It could also describe someone, who is deep into certain things, a real geek if you will. Indeed the original spelling was "geck" (also German for "fob"), which etymologically is related to the English word "geek". / The album is compiled of tracks dating from 1993-2003. All tracks combine electronica with aspects of Cologne Carnival Culture, Cologne folklore and Cologne dialect.
