Wondering how many people will forget the importance of real connection or independent decision-making. Wondering how much more internet surveillance will become normalized, how many more interactions will be electronically intermediated. You know, Wednesday.

	5:32pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever): This new Patriot Act moment will be different from the last in that many governments might simultaneously coordinate. Loss of freedom will be far more widespread.
	5:35pm ifny: Yesterday was my first day out in the world in seven days. I brushed the pollen off my bicycle seat and climbed aboard. As I rode across town, I saw sparseness and life and dreamlike kinesis. I saw parents with their children playing. I saw joggers and moseyers and dogs with their walkers.
	5:35pm ifny: I saw sakura, and people in power chairs, and people in scarves, and people with groceries. I saw little shrines of free items left out on the kerb as people found the time to organise their nooks and crannies. Little offerings of love to strangers – I don’t need it anymore, do you? Can you use this thing? Little sculptures of future-facing and normalcy and anti-waste.
	5:36pm ifny: I called out a wide howdy! to everyone I passed, howdy! how are you! and I smiled and listened through the headwind for their response. Most smiled and looked relieved and brushed the pollen off their voices. The dogs looked at me with anticipation. The crows hung about.

	5:39pm ifny: Riding I felt more real. I rode along with cyclists in the Spring sunshine. We chatted in kinetic solidarity at the advised distance. We met at lights. I pushed the ‘cross’ button with my elbow. Outside is real. Opportunity is real. When we have our hands full, the burdens we share become more visible. When they have their hands full, it is the perfect time for outmanoeuvring. Hi howdy, hi high hi how are you!
