I play music that is old and that is new. Some of it is digital while some is analog. It is from many different countries; sometimes it is loud and at other times it is quiet.

my explanation, in my situations, has always been that people are not raised now to know how to communicate with their...shipmates (! -we *are* all on this big boat together, after all) -as generations before them, and moreso before me, were.
and also raised with no emphasis on giving a shit, and to be selfish and complacent... and people are tired -exhausted...so the easy way is to pick up the phone and call the cops.

Thanks for the show, Mayuko – we've enjoyed it here at the homestead.

i've had neighbors who were deliberately unfriendly toward me from the moment they moved in, having not met me and having no knowledge of me. i know, where i am now, it could be racism; but in the past it's happened with folks similarly colored as i.
either way it's a combination of fear and bigotry.

the thing is, i can jack that material off spotify, for the time-being. it's labor-intensive -recording in "real time" onto cds, but can happen...and i'd bet you have other music that i cannot get from spotify, that you might be willing to share! (like free jazz kinda stuff...)
i don't know, am i being stupid?
i don't want to put you out.
