	12:52pm coelacanth∅: it's pretty amazing the sensation this song was when it came out. i remember thinking this album was pointing in a direction that'd become the main style of music outside "mainstream" pop and dance music. silly me.

	1:04pm jeff-m: i know what you mean Coel. I think i fell for the whole rock n roll is dead around the late 90's to some extent something very strange and groundbreaking about that song to me though. The odd shifts in narration is one of them for sure
	1:12pm coelacanth∅: it was indeed groundbreaking -even if the ideas within had been done in some way before... for it all to be formed into a song that didn't fit neatly into any "genre" yet was still commercially viable.
