	6:17pm slugluv1313: i have communicated with animal rights activists in China over the years -- they are totally driven and dedicated, but i have never forgotten what one woman expressed to me (approximately 12 years ago): human rights are basically non-existent, so getting people to care about "non-humans" is really difficult -- yet, they press on and keep fighting, for ALL beings' rights
