	3:02am greatbarrington: Greetings NTB and all. I can't stop listening to that Castlevania 2 music!
	3:06am Nick the Bard: For all the crap it tended to get, it really does have the best soundtrack out of the three NES Castlevanias
	3:07am Nick the Bard: I do have a bit more of a partiality to the Game Boy games, but that's more of an actual nostaligia towards them (since I actually owned them when they were new and played the hell out of them)
	3:09am greatbarrington: it popped right into my head so #2 must have been the most popular NES Castlevania. I like the music to Deadly Towers
	3:11am Nick the Bard: People HATED CV2 when it first came out, since it went to rpg territory instead of side scrolling, but it's become a lot more appreciated in more recent times ( well not RECENT recent, but at least since the NES became a "retro" system and the internet came into things)
	3:12am greatbarrington: Yes the NES is my soft spot for the same reason. Zelda, etc. The way voices were emulated in 8-bit was hilarious
	3:14am greatbarrington: always amazing to see new people happen upon these games - "hm ok I just go over there"- it's so intuitive to the next generation
	3:17am greatbarrington: 37 minutes looks like the record for Castlevania 2 speedrun
	3:18am Nick the Bard: I'm not even sure how far I've gotten in it (I tend to go with the puzzle games or homebrews anymore)
	3:24am greatbarrington: reminds me a little of Faxanadu, another fav. kind of rp but with hand-eye coordination
	3:27am Nick the Bard: The graphics in that game still feel kind of disturbing to me, like, I get they were intentionally done to look like some kind of Hieronymus Bosch painting, but, it's still unnerving (esp. playing it in the middle of the night)
