The instrument's controlling section usually consists of two metal antennas that sense the relative position of the thereminist's hands and control oscillators for frequency with one hand, and amplitude (volume) with the other. The electric signals from the theremin are amplified and sent to a loudspeaker. The theremin was the product of Soviet government-sponsored research into proximity sensors. The instrument was invented by a young Russian physicist named Lev Sergeyevich Termen (known in the West as Léon Theremin) in October 1920 after the outbreak of the Russian Civil War. After a lengthy tour of Europe, during which time he demonstrated his invention to packed houses, Theremin moved to the United States, where he patented his invention in 1928. Subsequently, Theremin granted commercial production rights to RCA. / Eyck uses a fixed arm position per octave, and uses fixed positions of the fingers to create the notes within the octave, allowing very fast transitions between adjacent notes.  *   2:25:10 (Pop-up)

Forbes left before the recording of this album and was replaced by John Giblin & singer Robin Clark was added to the lineup, as well    2:51:41 (Pop-up)

Working for a radio station, a jump school offered some of the on-air staff a chance to jump out of an airplane after just 2 hours of ground school. Demonstrating, I guess, that parachuting was incredibly safe, and we would talk about the experience on-air.
Some of us took up the offer, and I found myself hanging onto a wing spar, one foot on the planes' right tire, the other out in the slipstream. We'd been told that once we let go of the spar, to count to three.and if the static line had not automatically deplaoyed the 'chute, we were to take action by getting to the secondary chute we wore on our chests.
When the jumpmaster gave me the nod and I let go of the spar, there was no counting to three. There was no thought whatever. I could have been falling for a millisecond or a millenium, couldn't tell.
The space between two thoughts. Oh, my, yes.

Avatar 8:15am
Ignatatus666:

I didn’t think so
Yet many times when I type Coldspring it adds harbor. And Carol just described a spot in Coldspring in the woods and near a church.
Coldspring actually borders our town along with Garrison and Kent
It’s a cool little town loaded with speed traps for the rich Manhattanites not to be confused with Carolytes which are actually sonata crystals from the moons sub surface

Further confusing matters is Coldplay's album called Spring.
