In Hazel’s drawing I was particularly surprised by the number sequencing: 1-19, then the numbers ending in 2, and the numbers ending in 3. A cool way to think about numbers.

this show is so hot that everything on it is a gas. ;-)
  9:12am
Daybreak, up earlier than usual:

Wow! LW Rhino, thanks so much for asking about my back! 3 days of back, knee, and hip stretches (seems most of my back pain comes from my leg muscles pulling weirdly) fixed me up. Then my neighbor came through and said he was going to give me his backpack leaf blower on that 1st day, but he was out of gas. So he gassed it up the next day and just delivered it without asking. What a guy! He saved my back!

it's a drag to keep resting when you feel you're healed up, but you really have to be super careful with your back.

Well Linda 2 things really helped: that blower loan, combined with my whole fam pitching in. Teamwork made the process easy. Plus all we had to do was get them into the gutter and the town came by on Thurs and sucked them up!
I got a lot ‘o trees too, so moving 3/4 of them out helps. The rest is compost and mulch.

Hey Linda Lee:
Look what I found (What the Dickens?!?)
“The earliest recorded use of card in this sense was in an 1836 work by Dickens in which he referred to someone as "a knowing card". The usage sprang from cards in the sense of playing cards, which had long used such phrases as a sure card, a safe card, a best card and so on.”
