Being a few steps closer to hell, it's more comfortable here on the subway than on the cold, cold surface.

John from Florham park:

@Cmurtha pisge is kicking butt as always and I am doing very well, hate the cold weather, if it was not for this station to keep me sane in a insane world I don’t know what I would do

@john I recommend it! I also recommend Tony's show before it, but I've never listened to Michel's show to cross compare.

John from Florham park:

@Davud d it sure has warmed me up
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:12pm
Cmurtha:

@john I would but whenever I think to give her a shot Tony is doing a tape hiss and those are always really unique and they don't get archived! I will give her show a listen later in archive land at some point.
  3:14pm
John from Florham park:

@Cmurtha the problem with the drummer stream going more and more live is that I don’t know what to listen too on here or the mother stream

  3:16pm
John from Florham park:

&Brian love salty language, I know SMKen won’t but would love to see WFMU go full internet
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm
Cmurtha:

@john he archives some of them, but he has special shows where he plays these tapes he has in his collection (can be really experimental stuff, collections of hard to come by stuff etc) those don't get archived.

Carmichael:

Heya David and listeners.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm
Rich in Washington:

@JfFp & Cmutha: I think the Tape Hiss shows, alternating every other week versus his regular show, isn't archived due to the fact that it plays complete tapes, rather than random tracks off of albums played free-form style. There are some archaic (and frankly insane) rules put forth by DMCA that forbids archives of shows containing multiple tracks from the same album or by the same artist, so Tape Hiss would immediately run afoul of that.
That's just my guess. I don't know the full rationale behind it, but that might be why.
  3:25pm
John from Florham park:

@Rich in Washington down with the DCMA bastards
