	4:33pm Otis Fodder: Even myself, just 15 years back at 35, I have photos (real one) developed. I often miss developed photos, should get back into that again. Digital great and all, but I would like to have more polaroids and pics on my fridge.

	4:45pm fred: For some reason former girlfriends stole all pics of me from my twenties and earlier. To my single digit years. So I have no pics from before adulthood

	4:47pm Otis Fodder: Fred, I think about that often and the number of photos that have gone lost. I was lucky recently to borrow a photo album from 12 years ago and going to scan those photos in... but wish I had a ton of 80s and 90s photos still. Thankfully I have a ton of 70s photos from parents as I'm on a mission where I am slowly scanning and documenting them all.
	4:48pm Linda Lee: that's a great project, Otis! & less time consuming that digitizing vinyl & tape.
	4:49pm Otis Fodder: ... and doing that now too, so slowly, but in free time. Mix tapes and other personal recorded media. Figure I'll post all the audio online in time and for photos, to share with family (nephews, etc) to look at in the future when I'm dust.
	4:50pm Franco Twinkie: Well, I was having at blast at 20. Skinny as a rail, sleeping on the beach, sleeping on the side of the road, running around and having fun in the great outdoors.
	4:51pm Otis Fodder: 20 was fun totally... but too crazy. I think about it now and think, oh god, I'm going to lie down on the couch and nap. Ha. Happy memories though. I had a mobile DJ biz and was playing clubs in the SF bay area at 18 in 1987.
	4:51pm Linda Lee: old personal photos are always compelling to me, even if i don't know the subjects.
	4:52pm fred: I think they liked the idea of young me more than than what I turned out to be. Can't blame them. They did have a clue

	4:54pm Otis Fodder: Geez - Very much so. Just started a food journal and eating even better as of 2 weeks ago. Was dealing with high blood pressure, long story, but still ongoing and listening to my body even moreso than normal. Exercise and sleep as well.

	4:56pm Otis Fodder: I may have Franco, but can't recall. I was mostly over on Broadway at a club Palladium in 87', right after that it was City Nights. Used to have a spot at a club in Castro Valley that started in '88 called Muggs (headed up a male chip strip show but had to stay behind the dj booth as I was under 21.

	5:01pm geezerette: Otis, good! I've been lucky to know several,brilliant, funny, passionate people in their nineties who seemed ageless to me. Learned a lot from them, enjoyed their company enormously. Extraordinary role models. Loving the travelogue. :D
	5:02pm Franco Twinkie: Hunts was on the corner of 20th and Mission. Open 24hrs and attracted the most insane and potentially dangerous people in the city. Always top shelve entertainment. Chaos and glazed donuts.
	5:03pm Otis Fodder: Thanks geez, and yes, what's that bit about growing old and knowing next to nothing... well something but always learning more and more in the mind and body. Yes, these recordings are great. SOB (Diane) is one funny cool gem of a person.
	5:03pm Granny Spicy Tuna (they/them): i've been looking forward to my 50s all the way through the awkward and annoying 40s. I saw all my older friends really hitting a peak era in their 50s. Wouldn't go back to any age before my first Saturn return for anything.

	5:21pm Franco Twinkie: Watsonville is the answer! The Mexican food in Santa Cruz left something to be desired in the mid 70's, so we would drive down to Watsonville or Freedom. Less hippies, more Mexicans, no bean sprouts in your burrito!

	5:40pm Linda Lee: it's not easy to write a true story from second hand memory of casual conversations. you need to be able to ask questions of the people you're writing about to make their stories come alive .. unless you're into writing fiction!

	4:47pm Otis Fodder: Fred, I think about that often and the number of photos that have gone lost. I was lucky recently to borrow a photo album from 12 years ago and going to scan those photos in... but wish I had a ton of 80s and 90s photos still. Thankfully I have a ton of 70s photos from parents as I'm on a mission where I am slowly scanning and documenting them all.
	4:48pm Linda Lee: that's a great project, Otis! & less time consuming that digitizing vinyl & tape.
	4:49pm Otis Fodder: ... and doing that now too, so slowly, but in free time. Mix tapes and other personal recorded media. Figure I'll post all the audio online in time and for photos, to share with family (nephews, etc) to look at in the future when I'm dust.
	4:50pm Franco Twinkie: Well, I was having at blast at 20. Skinny as a rail, sleeping on the beach, sleeping on the side of the road, running around and having fun in the great outdoors.
	4:51pm Otis Fodder: 20 was fun totally... but too crazy. I think about it now and think, oh god, I'm going to lie down on the couch and nap. Ha. Happy memories though. I had a mobile DJ biz and was playing clubs in the SF bay area at 18 in 1987.

	4:52pm fred: I think they liked the idea of young me more than than what I turned out to be. Can't blame them. They did have a clue

	4:54pm Otis Fodder: Geez - Very much so. Just started a food journal and eating even better as of 2 weeks ago. Was dealing with high blood pressure, long story, but still ongoing and listening to my body even moreso than normal. Exercise and sleep as well.

	4:56pm Otis Fodder: I may have Franco, but can't recall. I was mostly over on Broadway at a club Palladium in 87', right after that it was City Nights. Used to have a spot at a club in Castro Valley that started in '88 called Muggs (headed up a male chip strip show but had to stay behind the dj booth as I was under 21.

	5:01pm geezerette: Otis, good! I've been lucky to know several,brilliant, funny, passionate people in their nineties who seemed ageless to me. Learned a lot from them, enjoyed their company enormously. Extraordinary role models. Loving the travelogue. :D
	5:02pm Franco Twinkie: Hunts was on the corner of 20th and Mission. Open 24hrs and attracted the most insane and potentially dangerous people in the city. Always top shelve entertainment. Chaos and glazed donuts.
	5:03pm Otis Fodder: Thanks geez, and yes, what's that bit about growing old and knowing next to nothing... well something but always learning more and more in the mind and body. Yes, these recordings are great. SOB (Diane) is one funny cool gem of a person.
