Once I gave him 2 cans but he then
vomited it all up and then ate

Oh, wait, it's even worse: "Whizzing and pasting and pooting through the day". "Whizzing" referred to Kenny's need to urinate in jars because he and Mothers of Invention saxophone player Jim "Motorhead" Sherwood were living in a garage on the Williams property, one which lacked plumbing. The results were "Kenny's little creatures on display", a reference to what Zappa described in a 1987 interview with Rolling Stone as "mutant tadpoles" which had appeared over time in the urine and could be seen swimming in it. "Pasting" is a reference to another part of the song which states that Ronnie saved his "pneumies" on a bedroom window, described rather bluntly in the song as "dysentery green"

I think that is why groups like the Parkland kids and the teens that spoke at the UN are always important, you need those kids to get to the yuppies who used to be a pale version of those kids, at least in there mind.

I’m 39 and even though I work with teens all day, I’ve felt the yuppie be careful, slow down hesitation to radical change trying to grow in me for years.

We need the right movement at the right moment and then shaving cream will change for the better. Things certainly won’t change on their own.

VincentNifigance I Feel you on the apocalyptic 94! My brother who was 16 at the time took Cobain’s death in April really hard, I was 14 and he only made me aware of Cobain after his death. Then our father who had been battling cancer for almost 2 years died in August 94. Having those two very different kinds of deaths so close,significantly changed the trajectory of both of our lives and our view of how much time we really get.
I’m glad you made it through that particular hell Vincenot and are here glistening on the other side!

I am always tempted to point out the perverse blessing that tragic death was for me because that’s the kind of thing that no one wants to hear when they’re going through a loss and can make you wanna slap people that suggest maybe this horrible situation is a good thing.

However, it was true for me. There was no college money before my father‘s life insurance money. Because the money was available, I came up to Rutgers from Virginia, because I came to Rutgers, I met my wife, because I met my wife I stayed in New Jersey, because I stayed in New Jersey I have my awesome “actually paying me a decent salary” Teaching job, and because I have my awesome wife and a decent job I now have two amazing mini glisteners.

My father’s death didn’t make all of that happen, but none of it would have happened if he hadn’t died.
