I play music that is old and that is new. Some of it is digital while some is analog. It is from many different countries; sometimes it is loud and at other times it is quiet.

i obtained a pumpkin yesterday, but i shan't be naming it or forming any kind of bond with it. i know it's destiny and it's not pretty.

Good morning rw! Bochao is a good looking pumpkin with a nice long handle!

The long handle on Bochao kind of reminds me of a little kid with a mohawk. Or extra large ears or somehting.

That is a WAR, Dropof!!!!!!! Now I realize I might have to protect Bochao from NYC critter citizens too!

Dropof Goldensun:

I have a dog so I suppose I could have tried that but now it would entail buying another pumpkin. It's really too late for the current one. The thing is, we have a literally thousands of acorns covering just about everything om several oak trees. This is enough for the squirrels?! Don't they eat acorns?

@Dropof: They store acorns because these won't spoil over the winter. A pumpkin would, so they eat it now

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm
Dropof Goldensun:

I looked up some recipes to spray on your pumpkin to avoid the munching but a friend tried one and it only helped a little. My neighbor spray paints them with clear coat and that seems to work very well.

Mayuko!! Thank you for the shout-out. Caught half the mic break in the car. You're right about the pumpkin patches. It's a lie!! Such is city life. Also... I was in a small art gallery one time a little bigger than my living room when Steve Martin walked in. I gave him a nod that said "Hey, you're Steve Martin!" He gave me a nod back that said, "Yes, I know. Nice to meet you!"

The pledge credit stuff is confusing. I was glad I could select several of the programs that I like but then confused to see "S.B. Boomer: Year-End Fundraiser 2019" on my profile. Have not yet figured out what S.B. Boomer is, but the shows I intended to support have done shout outs so whatever.

Lovely Stereolab!

I met a young composer at work because of the T-shirt I was wearing. For once it wasn't WFMU, but Nisennenmondai. Turns out he was in a band that opened for them 5 years ago. Are they still active?
  1:43pm
JakeGould:

@TDK60: Well, as much as I like Stereolab, I think the vinyl reissues are a bit silly and fauxstalgic. Stereolab was primarily a CD band.
